HackIQ: Locate. Analyze. Guess.
HackIQ is a live geolocation competition where teams are dropped into locations around the world on an official GeoGuessr room and must pinpoint them using only visual observation. Scoring is automatic, with GeoGuessr's own points system and a real-time leaderboard.

- Venue: E Block IV, Presidency University, Bengaluru
Eligibility
- Open to college students, internal and external
- Teams of 4 members
- Limited to 15 teams, first come, first served
Registration Fee
₹150 per team (4 members)
Format and Process
- Register your team and join the WhatsApp group for updates
- Receive the GeoGuessr room code on event day
- Demo round (ungraded) to learn the interface
- Rules briefing and scoreboard walkthrough
- Main round: all teams play live in one GeoGuessr room, studying each location and dropping a pin
- Scores are calculated instantly by GeoGuessr; the highest cumulative score wins
- Organizers verify the final leaderboard and announce winners
Rules
- Each team must bring one laptop; this is mandatory
- One GeoGuessr account per team
- Pins can be adjusted until the round timer ends
- No search engines, reverse image search, or outside help during rounds
- Organizers' decision is final
