Job Description
The Finance Intern will support the finance team in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation (GST/TDS), and audit processes in a fast-growing social enterprise.
Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping Support
- Assist in maintaining general ledger and financial records.
- Support processing of accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Help with bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations.
Compliance & Documentation
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Organize and maintain financial records for audit purposes.
- Assist in preparing data required for internal and external audits.
System & Process Support
- Work on accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books or ERP systems).
- Help improve documentation and filing processes.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- B.Com, M.Com, or MBA Finance preferred.
