Overview
Get ready for the Remote Robotics (ReRo) Online Hackathon at PES University, organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS) Chapter, RR Campus, PES University!
A national-level, fully online hackathon and a flagship event of IEEE RAS. Open to all students across the country. Code real robots, test them on real tracks, and compete from anywhere!
Introducing ReRo Lab
The ReRo Lab, inaugurated in February 2023 at PES University, stands as India's first-ever 24/7 remote robotics facility built by an educational institution. It's not just a lab, it's a space where innovation literally never sleeps. From programming mobile robots in real time to testing algorithms and collaborating with peers across the globe, ReRo lets you experience the future of robotics from any part of the world, remotely. Whether you're just starting out or already deep into robotics, this is where curiosity meets cutting-edge.

How It Works

Round 1 (Friday, 13th November): Online quiz on PID and robotics fundamentals. Top teams move ahead. -
Round 2 (Sat-Sun, 14th-15th November): 24-hour remote hackathon. Code your own algorithm and run it on our bots in two arenas: Line Follower and Maze Solver (More information on this will be given later). -
Bot access: 3 slots of 20 minutes per team, booked on the ReRo Lab website (first-come, first-serve basis).
