Pearson is hiring for the role of Associate, HR Operations Intern!

Responsibilities of the Intern:

- Supporting employee onboarding activities and helping to deliver a smooth and positive onboarding experience. - Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and programs. - Supporting the maintenance, organization, and accuracy of HR data and employee records. - Assisting with benefits-related initiatives and employee support activities. - Supporting interview coordination and other recruitment-related administrative activities, as needed. - Collaborating with HR team members and cross-functional stakeholders to support the effective delivery of HR services. - Assisting with the coordination and administration of HR processes and operational activities. - Supporting the preparation, tracking, and management of HR-related information and documentation. - Developing an understanding of HR Operations, employee experience design, and data-driven HR insights. - Building practical skills in communication, stakeholder coordination, time management, organization, and project support. - Throughout the internship, you will receive guidance and support from experienced HR professionals while gaining valuable exposure to HR processes, employee lifecycle activities, and the operational practices that support Pearson's purpose: Add Life to a Lifetime of Learning.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree, with a strong interest in Human Resources and HR Operations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to work proactively, take initiative, and identify actions required with minimal supervision. - Strong attention to detail, with effective follow-up and coordination skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables. - Willingness and ability to work from the office at least three days per week.
