About the Company
Pathcore Private Limited is seeking an Academic Counsellor to support learners and working professionals in making informed education and career decisions. The role offers an opportunity to work in the education and career counselling domain while contributing directly to a positive admissions experience.
Responsibilities
- Counsel students and working professionals about relevant educational programmes based on their academic background, career goals, and requirements.
- Explain programme details, eligibility criteria, fees, admission procedures, and related information clearly and accurately.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to enquiries, and follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Guide qualified candidates through the admission journey and maintain timely, structured follow-ups to improve conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, conversations, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or other tracking systems.
- Achieve individual counselling, calling, and admission targets while delivering a professional candidate experience.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and manage multiple leads efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in academic counselling, education sales, inside sales, telesales, admissions, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, counselling, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with sales-oriented goals, admission targets, lead follow-ups, and customer handling.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Experience in EdTech, higher education, online education, university admissions, or a related environment will be preferred.
- Candidates who have worked as Academic Counsellors, Admission Counsellors, Education Counsellors, Career Counsellors, Inside Sales Executives, Education Sales Executives, or Student Counsellors are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time, work-from-office position based in Sector 56, Noida. The monthly salary range is ₹20,000 to ₹40,000, depending on experience and interview performance, with additional performance-based incentives. The role also offers career growth and a supportive professional environment.
