Opentext is hiring for the role of Software Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work on an enterprise-scale server protection product supporting on-premises and cloud-based workloads. - Contribute to software architecture, design, development, and implementation. - Develop complex software independently and take ownership of deliverables. - Participate in code reviews and take proactive steps to prevent defects. - Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams through clear and effective communication. - Contribute to technical analysis, design, planning, and process improvements. - Work using Agile development practices and test-driven development. - Solve challenging technical problems in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. - Gain exposure to distributed systems, data protection, virtualization, database technologies, and multiple UNIX platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline. - Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ development. - Experience developing complex software independently. - Good understanding of software development practices and code quality. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to analyze technical problems and contribute effectively to design and planning. - Willingness to work in an Agile development environment and follow test-driven development practices.
