Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Other Coordination: Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Coordinate with procurement and production teams for raw material availability and with accounts, dispatch, sales, and e-commerce for smooth delivery, purchase requirements, and timely payments.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Coordinate with warehouse teams for accurate dispatch and storage practices, conduct regular stock audits, monitor stock movement, reduce wastage, and manage FIFO/LIFO protocols.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with vendors, transporters, and logistics teams for smooth operations. Track inbound and outbound logistics for efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure operations adhere to FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and company-specific quality standards. Communicate any situations or delays in production, dispatch, and accounts to relevant stakeholders. Work with QA/QC teams to maintain hygiene and process compliance in oil handling and certification standards for new product development.
  • Reporting & MIS: Generate daily/weekly/monthly operational reports on production, inventory, and dispatch. Analyze performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining a master file for departmental reporting for efficiency and transparency.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Assist in audits, procurement processes, and vendor management. Coordinate with sales, finance, and HR departments for operational alignment, ensuring all departments work as per system alignment and process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in the oil or food processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production workflows and logistics in oil-based manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems, and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with edible oil or lubricant processing plants is preferred.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance in food safety and factory operations is a plus.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization certifications are desirable.
