Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications.
- Build and integrate frontend and backend functionality.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Work with databases and APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and development discussions.
- Learn and adopt new technologies based on project requirements.
- Contribute ideas to improve application functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Follow basic development, version-control, and documentation practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with a frontend framework such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Basic understanding of backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or another backend technology
- Understanding of REST APIs and API integration
- Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience with academic, personal, freelance, or open-source projects is a plus
- Familiarity with deployment platforms or cloud services is a plus
- Basic knowledge of authentication, databases, or backend architecture is a plus
- GitHub portfolio or examples of projects you have built are highly valued
