NEXUS InnovateX 2026 is a two-round innovation and ideation challenge designed to encourage students and young innovators to identify real-world problems, develop meaningful solutions, and explore the practical application of AI and emerging technologies.
The competition takes participants through a structured journey from idea validation to idea development and pitching, providing an opportunity to demonstrate problem-solving ability, innovation, technological awareness, and presentation skills.

Round 1 — IdeaCheck: Innovation & Idea Validation Quiz:
The first round is an objective-based quiz designed to assess participants' understanding of innovation, problem-solving, AI and technology, business fundamentals, user and market understanding, logical decision-making, and idea validation.
Format:
- 20 MCQs
- 15 Minutes
- Online Mode
- Automatic Evaluation
- Shortlisting based on performance
Participants qualifying for Round 2 will advance to the idea development and pitching stage.
Round 2 — IdeaPitch: PPT & Video Pitch:
Shortlisted participants will develop and present an innovative idea addressing a meaningful problem, need, or opportunity.
The Idea PPT should cover:
- Problem Statement
- Target Users
- Proposed Solution
- Key Features
- AI / Technology Used
- Market / Use Case
- Business Model
- Competitive Advantage
- Expected Impact
- Future Scope
Participants will also submit a 2–3 minute video pitch presenting their problem, proposed solution, technological approach, uniqueness, and expected impact.
Evaluation Criteria:
Round 2 submissions will be evaluated by judges based on:

- Problem & Solution — 20%
- Feasibility — 20%
- Use of Technology / AI — 15%
- Impact & Scalability — 10%
- Pitch Quality — 10%
Recognition & Rewards:
Participants will receive recognition based on their final performance in the competition.
