Opportunity brief
The Chem-E-Prix Preliminary Quiz is the qualifying round for the Chem-E-Car Competition at Innovision 2026, NIT Rourkela, organized by the AIChE NIT Rourkela Student Chapter.
The quiz will challenge you across a diverse range of topics, including:
- Chemistry
- ️Physics
- Mathematics
- General Science & Logical Reasoning
The competition is designed to test more than just your ability to remember formulas — conceptual understanding, logical thinking, and problem-solving will be key.
Competition Journey
Round 1: THE GRID (Online Quiz)
- Register your team on Unstop.
- Complete the online technical quiz on Unstop.
- Test your knowledge of STEM topics.
- Only leader of the team needs to attend the quiz.
- Qualifying teams move to the next round.
Round 2: THE GARAGE (Abstract Submission)
- Develop your chem-e-car concept and engineering approach.
- Prepare and submit your abstract on Unstop.
- Format and necessary details to be mentioned on the abstract will be given beforehand.
- Selected teams advance to the Grand Finale to be held offline at NIT ROURKELA.
Round 3: THE GRAND PRIX (Car Run)
- Teams need to present their Chem-E-Car to the jury for safety check and run. (offline)
- A poster of the chem-e-car should be presented along with the car. (Softcopy)
- More details about the car run and poster presentation details will be shared through registered mail IDs.
Team Format:
- Participate in teams of 2–5 members.
- The top-performing teams in the preliminary quiz will qualify for the next stage.
- Qualified teams will get the opportunity to participate in the Chem-E-Prix Competition at Innovision 2026, NIT Rourkela.
- Exciting prizes await the top performers!
