NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026 – Raipur:

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is a global hackathon that brings together students, developers, engineers, scientists, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs and space enthusiasts to solve real-world challenges using NASA's open data and data from Space Agency Partners.

The 2026 edition, themed "The Next Frontier," invites participants to think beyond conventional boundaries and build innovative solutions for challenges related to Earth, space, science, technology and humanity's future.

The Raipur Local Event, hosted at National Institute of Technology Raipur, gives participants the opportunity to be part of this global hackathon while collaborating, building and presenting their solutions alongside participants from diverse backgrounds.

Two Registrations Are Mandatory:

To participate in the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026 – Raipur, you must complete both registrations.

Unstop registration alone is NOT sufficient. Official registration on the NASA Space Apps platform is also mandatory.

No advanced coding experience is required. Participants are encouraged to form multidisciplinary teams where different skills and perspectives come together to solve the selected challenge.

The focus is not on building the most complicated technology, but on understanding the problem, developing a meaningful solution and demonstrating its potential impact.

The Raipur event is one of the local events taking place as part of the worldwide NASA Space Apps Challenge 2026. Your team will work on official NASA Space Apps challenges and your project can become part of the global Space Apps ecosystem.

Eligible projects may proceed through the official NASA Space Apps judging process and compete for global recognition in accordance with the program's official rules and criteria.
