My Indian Things is hiring for Interior Site Coordinator Intern!
About the Company:
My Indian Things works on interior wall and space transformation projects, connecting design, operations, field execution, and client requirements to deliver thoughtful real-world installations. This internship offers practical exposure to how accurate site information moves from measurement to drawing, planning, and final execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating site measurement visits and support measurement calls when required.
- Help verify site measurements against drawings, room requirements, openings, cutouts, doors, and windows.
- Coordinate with clients, installers, vendors, designers, sales, operations teams, and field experts to share accurate project information.
- Enter and maintain measurement and project data in ERP or CRM systems, including drawings, images, dimensions, and site updates.
- Track project progress, identify missing or inconsistent information, and escalate discrepancies to the relevant team member.
- Support measurement documentation, client confirmation or sign-off, and handovers to design and operations teams.
- Learn and assist with LiDAR-based scanning and digital measurement workflows using tools such as Polycam, magicplan, or similar applications.
- Gain exposure to AutoCAD, basic 3D modelling, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or comparable tools while following site safety and compliance guidelines.
Requirements:
- Suitable for freshers and college students with an interest in interior design, architecture, site execution, or project coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers, dimensions, drawings, and structured information.
- Clear communication skills, willingness to coordinate with different stakeholders, and confidence in asking questions when information is incomplete.
- Basic computer skills and eagerness to learn ERP or CRM systems, AutoCAD, scanning applications, and 3D modelling workflows.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or exposure to interior drawings, floor plans, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or 3ds Max is useful but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Willingness to visit or work around project sites when required.
During the three-month internship, the intern will develop practical skills in site measurement coordination, drawing interpretation, project documentation, digital scanning, and the connection between measurements, design, quotation, material planning, and installation.
