About the Hackathon:
WEBVERSE 2026 is a national-level online hackathon organized by Code Catalyst, bringing together students, developers, designers, and technology enthusiasts from across India.
The hackathon provides participants with an opportunity to solve real-world challenges, showcase their technical skills, collaborate with other innovators, and build impactful solutions across various technology domains.

Round 1 – Domain-Based Quiz:
- Date: 30th August 2026
- Participants will attempt an online quiz .
- Qualified teams will advance to Round 2.
Round 2 – Idea Submission:
- Dates: 31st August – 4th September 2026
- Qualified teams must submit:

- Proposed Solution
- Technology Stack
- System Architecture (Optional)
- Presentation (PPT/PDF)
- Project Roadmap
- Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, scalability, and technical approach.
- Selected teams will qualify for the Grand Finale.
Grand Finale – Live Prototype Presentation:
- Date: 10th September 2026
- Finalists will present their working prototypes before the judging panel through an online meeting.

Deliverables:
Finalists must submit:
- Source code (GitHub preferred)
- Presentation (PPT/PDF)
- Working prototype
- Demo video, if requested

- Runner-Up: Cash Prize and Runner-Up Certificate
- Second Runner-Up: Cash Prize and Certificate
- Participation certificates for all eligible participants
Rules:
- Teams must consist of 1–4 members.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- A participant cannot be part of multiple teams.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- AI tools may be used, but projects must demonstrate original work and understanding.
- Projects must be developed specifically for WEBVERSE.
- The judges' decisions will be final and binding.
- Any form of misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.
- The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule if required.
