Opportunity brief

About Masrom Global

Masrom Global is an industrial automation and digitalization company built around our 3M framework — Man, Machine, Material — helping organizations digitize their workforce operations, machine performance, and material/supply chain processes. We work with manufacturing, industrial, and enterprise clients to design and deploy IoT-enabled monitoring, automation, and digital twin solutions that solve real operational problems.

We're growing our client-facing team and looking for someone who can bridge the gap between customer needs and technical solutions — someone equally comfortable in a client meeting and in a conversation with our engineering team.

Role Overview

As a Technical Sales & Business Development Associate, you will be the primary point of contact between Masrom Global and our clients — responsible for building relationships, understanding what customers actually need, and working closely with our solutions/engineering team to shape offerings that solve those needs. This is a hybrid role that blends sales, account management, and technical consulting — ideal for someone who wants exposure to both business strategy and hands-on technical problem-solving early in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their trusted point of contact at Masrom Global.
  • Requirement Discovery: Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their operational challenges, technical requirements, and business goals.
  • Solution Collaboration: Work closely with Masrom's solutions/engineering team to translate customer requirements into proposed technical solutions, ensuring what's promised to the client is deliverable.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, industry events, and lead generation.
  • Proposal & Pitch Support: Assist in preparing client-facing proposals, presentations, and pitches that clearly communicate Masrom's value and technical approach.
  • Pipeline Management: Track leads, opportunities, and client interactions through our CRM, keeping accurate records of pipeline status and next steps.
  • Market Feedback: Relay client feedback and market insights back to the solutions and leadership teams to help refine offerings.
  • Post-Sale Coordination: Support smooth handoffs from sales to delivery, and stay engaged with clients through project execution to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

  • MBA graduates (Sales, Marketing, or Operations specialization preferred) or Engineering graduates (any discipline; Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation backgrounds especially relevant) with an interest in sales and client-facing work.
  • Freshers are welcome — we're looking for aptitude and attitude as much as prior experience.
  • Strong communication skills — comfortable speaking with clients ranging from plant managers to senior leadership.
  • Genuine curiosity about technology and industrial/manufacturing operations — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be excited to learn how our solutions actually work.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-relevant language for non-technical stakeholders (and vice versa).
  • Self-starter mentality — comfortable with ambiguity and proactive about identifying opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.

Nice to Have

  • Prior internship experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical consulting.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Basic understanding of IoT, automation, or industrial operations.

What You'll Gain

  • Direct mentorship from the founding team, with real ownership of client accounts from day one.
  • Cross-functional exposure to both the business and technical sides of an industrial automation company.
  • The opportunity to shape how a growing company approaches sales and client relationships — this isn't a role where you'll just follow a script.

Experience Level: Freshers / 0–2 years (MBA and Engineering graduates welcome)
