Marsh & McLennan is hiring for the role of Analyst - Accounting Operations!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.
- Review and conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports and make recommendations for changes to management.
- Conduct basic audit activities, to comply with requirements.
- Maintain best practices policies, to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.
- Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.
- Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
- Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts, tracks and reports initiatives.
- Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Improve financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
Requirements:
