Round 1 – the Hybrid Sprint:
60 MINUTES • 100 MARKS
Round 1 is where the real challenge begins.
Your team will face two tracks simultaneously — an individual technical challenge and a team-based Tinkercad debugging challenge.
Phase 1 – the Individual Quiz:
45 MARKS
Every member of the team gets a chance to prove their individual technical knowledge.
The quiz is conducted through three consecutive 15-minute solo turns:
The combined performance of all three members contributes to the team's 45-mark Quiz Score.
Phase 2 – Tinkercad Debugging
55 MARKS
While one teammate is tackling the quiz, the other two team members are already fighting the circuit.
Your team will receive a challenging faulty Tinkercad circuit template
Find the faults. Understand the logic. Fix the system.
Top-performing teams advance to Round 2.
️Round 2 – the Physical Hardware Finale
120 MINUTES • 100 MARKS
Now the virtual world ends.
It's time to build for real.
Shortlisted teams receive a verified hardware component kit and a problem statement from the organizers.
Your mission is to turn the problem statement into a working physical prototype.
What You Have to Do:
Working together as a complete team, you must:
- Understand the Problem
- Build the Circuit
- Code the System
- Calibrate & Debug
- Test Your Prototype
Key Rules:
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, reference material and unauthorized electronic devices are prohibited during the event.
- Once the Round 1 screen freeze is activated, no further modifications are permitted.
- In Round 2, only the official hardware/components provided by the organizers may be used.
- Internet access will be disconnected during the physical hardware-building phase.
- Communication or collaboration with other teams is strictly prohibited.
- Any use of unfair means, unauthorized devices or external assistance may result in immediate disqualification.
- Any misconduct or damage/misuse of laboratory equipment may result in disqualification.
- The decisions of the organizers, faculty coordinators and judging panel are final and binding.
Why Participate?
- Because this isn't just another quiz.
- Test your Electronics Knowledge
- Debug a complex virtual circuit
- Build a real Arduino-based system
- Solve problems under pressure
- Pitch your solution to expert judges
Note: If there are any additional changes in the event rules, they will be conveyed by the coordinators.
