TECHCEPTION 2026 — Where Technology Meets Creativity
Techception 2026 is a two-round technology and creativity challenge that tests your technical knowledge, observation, AI awareness, UI/UX understanding, and creative thinking.
Eligibility:
- Open to college/university students.
- Individual participation.
- No advanced programming knowledge required.
Format:
Round 1 — TECH DETECTIVE:
An online quiz featuring:
- Tech logo & visual identification
- AI-generated content detection
- Tech memes
- UI/UX flaw detection
Top performers advance to Round 2.
Round 2 — AI CHARACTER LAB:
Participants receive a detailed character brief and use an AI image-generation tool to create a 2D animated character. Participants submit the character, its description, and the prompt/tool used.
Evaluation:
Participants will be judged on technical knowledge, observation, AI literacy, creativity, UI/UX awareness, prompt engineering, and accuracy in following the given brief.
Rules:
- Submit original work.
- AI tools are permitted in Round 2 as specified.
- Participants may be asked to provide their generation prompt/process as proof.
- Any form of copying or unfair assistance may lead to disqualification.
- Organizers' and judges' decisions will be final.
