Opportunity brief
Eligibility:
- Open to students from all colleges.
- UG and PG students are eligible.
- Each college can participate with one team of 4 members.
- Inter-college team members are not allowed; all 4 participants must represent the same college.
Guidelines:
- Topics and assigned stances will be shared one week prior to the event.
- The competition will have Preliminary and Final Rounds.
- The top 2 teams from the Preliminary Round will advance to the Final.
- Finalists will receive a new topic on the spot, followed by preparation time.
- Both rounds will include argument and rebuttal segments.
Rules:
- All 4 team members must participate.
- Maintain relevant, respectful, and professional arguments.
- Personal attacks and offensive language are prohibited.
- Teams must strictly adhere to allotted time limits.
- Rebuttals must directly address the opposing arguments.
- Misconduct or unfair assistance may result in disqualification.
- The judges'/moderators' decision will be final and binding.
