Opportunity brief
Who can apply:
- Only those candidates can apply who:
- Are available for a full-time remote internship.
- Are comfortable being on camera and shooting themselves.
- Can shoot on a phone.
- Already create short-form content — your own page, a client's, or a past brand collaboration. Share your handle or portfolio link.
- If you don't have past work to show: pick any ring brand, shoot and edit one reel for it on your own, and submit that. Treat it as if you're already on the team — pick a ring, find your own angle, and make a reel you'd expect to perform. This is the main thing we judge, past experience or not.
- Can deliver consistently every week without follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Research competitor and same-category jewellery/D2C ads daily — what's running on Meta, what's trending on Instagram, which hooks and formats are pulling attention.
- Turn that research into original scripts and concepts for Kyonara's rings.
- Write scroll-stopping hooks — the first 3 seconds are the job.
- Shoot high-performing vertical reels (9:16) based on your own scripts, for Instagram, Facebook and paid ad campaigns.
- Shoot in high volume and on a fast turnaround — multiple reels every week, not a few a month.
- Cover multiple creative angles — styling, unboxing, close-up product detail, gifting, trend formats, UGC-style talking videos.
- Shoot clean still photos of products for ads, website and social.
- Track what performs, keep a swipe file of winning ads, and improve the next batch off real numbers.
- Hand over all raw footage with full usage rights to the brand.
Assessment question:
Share a link to a reel you have made — your own, a client's, or a sample you shoot for this application. Tell us in 2 lines why you chose that hook.
