About the Company:
Kuku FM is seeking a creative Social Media Intern to support awareness and organic audience growth for Playoshi, Kumiyo, and Aiva among US audiences. This Entertainment-focused opportunity offers hands-on exposure to app marketing, creator collaborations, and social-first growth in a remote team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the apps' presence across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and other relevant platforms.
- Create platform-specific content for US audiences, drawing on current trends, memes, sounds, and online communities.
- Research viral formats and creator opportunities, and help coordinate collaborations with US-based creators.
- Build content calendars, maintain posting schedules, and support community engagement.
- Track reach, engagement, views, and follower growth; prepare performance updates and recommend improvements.
- Monitor competitors and experiment with content approaches that can increase app awareness, organic reach, and downloads.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome.
- Candidates must be based in the United States.
- Strong familiarity with major social platforms and US internet culture, including trends, humor, and memes.
- Excellent written English, creativity, and an ability to develop engaging content ideas.
- Understanding of short-form video and creator-led content, plus the ability to interpret basic analytics.
- Organized, proactive, eager to experiment, and able to collaborate with the team and meet deadlines.
