Konecranes is hiring for the role of Trainee – Global IT Technical Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- IT Request Management:

Handle all IT service requests logged via the IT ticketing tool, including classification, approval routing, assignment to L2/L3 support, and follow-up until resolution.

- Incident Assessment & Escalation:

Evaluate severity, impact, and risk of incidents. Escalate to appropriate L2/L3 teams when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

- Process & Policy Compliance:

Adhere to established IT processes and policies during daily operations to maintain service quality and compliance.

- Project Support:

Participate in IT project activities as assigned, ensuring timely execution and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

- Problem Identification:

Analyze incoming incidents to identify recurring issues or problem areas and communicate findings to relevant teams.

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

Provide support during UAT phases to ensure smooth testing and feedback collection.

- ISO Standards Awareness:

Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards as applicable to IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of operating systems, networks, and applications
  • Familiarity with mobile OS (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Experience in developing or supporting scalable AI tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SCCM is an advantage
  • Customer service–oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and share knowledge
  • Basic understanding of ITIL practices preferred
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to work in a 24x7 shift environment
  • Exposure to automation tools
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 0–1 years of experience in a Windows environment.
