Opportunity brief
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Prepare accurate project estimates, BOQs, and cost sheets for electrical projects.
- Estimate material, manpower, equipment, and other project costs.
- Prepare project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Project, Procurement, Design, and Execution teams.
- Identify cost variations and support cost-control activities.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals and tender documents.
- Maintain estimation records and project costing documentation.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in Electrical Project Estimation.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, installation, and project execution.
- Strong understanding of BOQ, costing, budgeting, and tendering.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
