About the Company:
Kagnus is seeking aspiring Full Stack Developers to join its Engineering Network and contribute to practical software development projects. This opportunity is ideal for students, freshers, recent graduates, and self-taught developers eager to build and ship functional web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build functional full-stack web applications
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Build and integrate backend APIs
- Work with databases and data models
- Implement application functionality and business logic
- Integrate third-party APIs and services where required
- Structure applications using clean and maintainable code
- Debug and improve application performance
- Work with Git and modern software development workflows
- Make architecture and technology decisions for your project
- Test and refine your application before submission
- Document your implementation and development decisions
Requirements:
- We welcome applications from undergraduate students, final-year students, recent graduates, engineering students, postgraduate students, freshers, and self-taught developers.
- A specific degree or professional experience is not mandatory; what matters most is your ability to understand requirements, build working software, solve problems, and demonstrate development skills.
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of full-stack web development, be comfortable with at least one programming language/framework, be able to build a functional web application, have basic knowledge of frontend and backend development, understand fundamental database concepts, have access to GitHub or another developer portfolio, and be willing to complete a practical technical evaluation.
- The internship is stack-agnostic, allowing you to use technologies you are strongest in, with preferred technologies including Next.js, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Python, Go, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, and GraphQL.
- The initial evaluation phase of this opportunity is unpaid, with potential access to paid project opportunities for top performers who successfully progress through the technical evaluation and are selected for the Kagnus Engineering Network.
- This is a skills-focused opportunity, evaluating candidates primarily on their ability to build, solve problems, make sound technical decisions, and deliver working software.
- Selected candidates will receive a project brief, complete the assigned evaluation project, and submit their work for technical review.
- Those who successfully complete and submit a valid project receive an official Kagnus Completion Certificate.
- Top-performing candidates may progress to a technical interview with Kagnus engineers.
