About the Company
JPN Pharma Pvt Ltd is seeking an R&D Officer to contribute to pharmaceutical research and development activities at its Boisar facility. The role will support the development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical intermediates while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, compliance, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory research, chemical synthesis, reactions, and experiments in accordance with approved procedures.
- Support process development, optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization activities.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, batch records, experimental data, protocols, development reports, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with QC for analytical testing, product characterization, and impurity profiling.
- Work closely with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and other teams to support project execution.
- Ensure the proper and safe use of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and other resources.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical R&D, API, or pharmaceutical intermediate development.
- Practical understanding of chemical synthesis, process development, optimization, and scale-up activities.
- Ability to interpret experimental results and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, EHS, chemical handling, and laboratory safety requirements.
- Strong coordination, record-keeping, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The position offers an annual compensation range of ₹3,00,000 to ₹4,00,000 and requires effective collaboration across multidisciplinary pharmaceutical functions.
