About Stainless Spark Case Study Competition:
Stainless Spark Case Study Competition is the flagship campus engagement and hiring program of Jindal Stainless, designed to challenge and identify the brightest Engineering minds in India. The competition provides a unique opportunity for students to solve real-world business case problems, gain mentorship from industry leaders, and secure career opportunities with Jindal Stainless.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all Engineering students (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year) enrolled in a full-time, 4-year Engineering Program.
- Participation will be restricted to selected campuses identified by Jindal Stainless.
Team Formation Guidelines:
- Team size: 1-3 members.
- All members must be from the same campus.
- Inter-college teams: Not allowed.
- Inter-specialisation teams: Allowed.
- Cross-Year Teams: Allowed
- Only full-time Engineering students are eligible.
- There is no cap on the number of teams from a single institute.
- Team modification after registration will not be permitted.
- All members must be present for the Grand Finale presentation; otherwise, the team will be disqualified.
Competition Structure:
Round 1: Executive Case Summary
- Teams will receive the problem statement and submit a 1-2 slide executive summary outlining their approach.
- Shortlisting will be based on novelty, feasibility, and clarity of thought.
Round 2: Detailed Case Summary
- Shortlisted teams must submit a 120–150 sec video or a 6–8 slide PPT detailing their solution.
- Submission must include: Problem, Insights, Proposed Solution, Implementation, Impact
- Use of data, visuals, and frameworks is encouraged to strengthen the submission.
Round 3: Grand Finale
- The top teams from Round 3 will present their solutions to the senior leadership of Jindal Stainless.
- Each team will have dedicated time to interact with leaders.
Prizes & Rewards:
- Winners: ₹1,00,000 cash prize, PPIs for all three team members, and certificates of achievement.
- 1st Runners-Up: ₹75,000 cash prize and certificates of achievement.
- 2nd Runners-Up: ₹50,000 cash prize and certificates of achievement.
Terms & Conditions:
- The format, structure, and timelines of the competition may be modified at the discretion of Jindal Stainless.
- All submissions must be original and created solely by the team members. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Teams failing to submit entries within the deadlines will be disqualified.
- All decisions related to evaluation and selection will rest with Jindal Stainless, and shall be final and binding.
- Any materials, presentations, or ideas generated during the competition will remain the intellectual property of Jindal Stainless.
- By participating, teams consent to Jindal Stainless using their names, presentations, and photographs/videos for promotional and recruitment purposes.
- In case of disputes, the jurisdiction will rest with the courts of New Delhi.
