Opportunity brief
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data to support business decision-making.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of IBM SPSS, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and Python, along with a strong understanding of data analysis, statistical techniques, data visualization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Perform statistical analysis using IBM SPSS.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Create data models, calculated measures, KPIs, and visualizations in Power BI.
- Use Python for data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, automation, and statistical analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc analytical reports for management and business teams.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions.
- Validate data accuracy and maintain data quality.
- Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks wherever possible.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
