About the Organization
IPOBarta is an AI-first IPO intelligence platform for Indian retail investors. It offers live GMP tracking, IPO details, subscription data and research tools, all in one place.
About the Challenge
Most IPO content online is either hype or jargon. We're looking for writers who can explain India's IPO market using real data. Your research for this challenge happens on IPOBarta, and your article must be backed by what you find there.
How It Works: 3 Rounds
Round 1: IPO Research Quest (Online Quiz, 20 minutes)
Before the quiz, create a free account on IPOBarta with the same email you use on Unstop. The quiz has 15 questions whose answers can only be found by exploring the platform.
Round 2: Article Submission
Write an original article (800–1,500 words) on one of these topics:
- Is GMP a reliable signal? Compare the GMP trend and listing performance of any 3 recent IPOs.
- Mainboard vs SME IPOs: What retail investors should understand about the difference.
- How to read an IPO like an analyst: Explain lot size, price band, subscription categories and anchor investors using a live IPO example.
- Behind the subscription numbers: What QIB, NII and retail demand tell us.
- The IPO wave of 2026: Sector trends in recent Indian listings.
Mandatory Requirements
- Cite and link at least 4 different IPOBarta pages as data sources (for example, the GMP tracker, 2 IPO detail pages, and the subscription page).
- Include at least 2 screenshots from IPOBarta, including one from a feature available only after login.
- Mention your IPOBarta.ai registered email in the submission form. Entries without a matching account will be disqualified.
- Submit as a PDF or Google Doc link (view access enabled).
Round 3: Final Evaluation & Publishing
The jury shortlists the top 10 articles. The top 3 winners will be published on the IPOBarta.ai blog with author credits.
Judging Criteria
- Accuracy and use of data from IPOBarta.ai: 30%
- Clarity for a retail investor audience: 25%
- Depth of insight and originality: 25%
- Structure, language and presentation: 20%
Eligibility
- Open to college students, freshers and working professionals across India.
- Individual participation only.
- Articles may be written in English. Optional: Bengali/Hindi also accepted.
Rules
- Content must be original. Plagiarised or fully AI-generated articles will be disqualified; AI tools may be used only for grammar and editing.
- This is an educational writing contest. Articles must NOT recommend buying, selling, applying for or avoiding any specific IPO or security. Analysis and explanation are welcome; investment advice is not.
- One submission per participant.
- By submitting, winners grant IPOBarta.ai the right to publish their article with author attribution.
- The organiser's decision is final.
Rewards
