iOPEX Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer – Trainee to join its customer-facing engineering team. Responsibilities
- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical technology solutions.
- Design and build custom integrations across applications, services, and data sources.
- Clean, transform, validate, and pipeline messy or incomplete datasets for downstream analytics and AI applications.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and improvement of applied AI solutions in real-world customer environments.
- Contribute to full-stack engineering tasks, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and reliable production releases.
- Communicate progress clearly, participate in technical discussions, and adapt quickly to changing customer requirements.
Requirements
- 0–1 year of professional experience or equivalent project experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in programming, data structures, APIs, databases, and software development practices.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and solving ambiguous technical problems.
- Ability to learn rapidly, work hands-on in customer environments, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a proactive approach to ownership and troubleshooting.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Bangalore, with an annual compensation of ₹8,00,000. The role is designed for candidates seeking rapid exposure to client consulting, applied AI deployment, integrations, and high-impact product engineering.
