Event Scope:
Avinya - 2026 spans two electrifying rounds:
- Round 1: Participants will dive into eight diverse and challenging problem statements across various domains. Each team must choose one problem statement, craft a comprehensive solution, and submit their detailed proposal in PowerPoint format by the deadline.
- Goal: Showcase your innovative approach and technical knowledge to tackling pressing environmental issues.
- Round 2: The top teams will earn the opportunity to present their innovative ideas on the prestigious IIT Guwahati campus during Techniche, our annual techno-management festival. This will be followed by an intense 24 to 30-hour live hackathon, where teams will tackle new problem statements provided by industry experts based on pre-defined domains.
- Goal: Bring your ideas to life and compete with the best minds for top honors.
Workshops and Guest Lectures: Participants will benefit from a series of workshops and guest lectures led by renowned industry experts, providing invaluable insights and guidance to refine their solutions and enhance their understanding of environmental challenges.
