7 Lakes Fest Campus Ambassador
Overview:
- Be the face of 7 Lakes Fest on your campus.
- 7 Lakes is the annual fest of IIM Calcutta, featuring business competitions, cultural showcases, sports, live music, comedy, and other headline events, attracting participants from colleges across India.
- We're looking for Campus Ambassadors from colleges across India to carry it to their campuses.
- As an ambassador, you'll spend 7-8 weeks building awareness of 7 Lakes Fest on your campus, driving registrations for our events, and representing one of India's premier B-school fests to your peers.
- This isn't a line on a resume you forget about. You'll run real campaigns, work directly with the core organizing team at IIM Calcutta, and compete on a live leaderboard against ambassadors nationwide with free passes, accommodation, cash prizes, and merchandise on the line.

What you'll do:
- Promote 7 Lakes and its events across your campus, i.e., WhatsApp groups, class groups, notice boards, and your own social handles
- Share your unique referral code so every registration you drive is credited to you
- Post from the media kit we provide: posters, reels, story templates, and caption copy
- Collaborate with clubs, societies, and committees on your campus to co-promote events relevant to them
- Coordinate with your campus's participating teams and answer their questions about the fest
- Stay active in the ambassador community group and hit the weekly checkpoints we set
Time commitment:
- Roughly 3-5 hours a week.
- Fully remote until the fest itself.
Selection process:
Round 1: Application
- Fill the registration form on this page.
- Deadline: 10th Sep
Round 2: Screening
- Shortlisting based on your application and interviews by the core team of 7LF.
- 15th Sep - 20th Sep
Round 3: Onboarding
- Selected ambassadors get their referral code, media kit, and an invite to the ambassador community group.
- Onboarding call on 25th Sep.
Round 4: The campaign
- 28th Sep to 19th Nov.
- Live leaderboard throughout.
Rewards structure:
Milestone rewards:
- Everyone who hits the bar gets it, but this will be based on the college's batch strength and divided into 4 milestones.
M1:
- Certificate of Ambassadorship
M2:
- Certificate + 7 Lakes merchandise
M3:
- All of the above + free fest pass
M4:
- All of the above + free on-campus accommodation for the fest
Leaderboard rewards:
- This will be based on overall referrals as well as the reach (views, shares, comments, likes, etc) an ambassador gets on different social media platforms.
1st:
- Rs. 10000 + everything above + Letter of Recommendation + on-stage felicitation
2nd:
- Rs. 8000 + everything above + Letter of Recommendation
3rd:
- Rs. 6000 + everything above + Letter of Recommendation
4th:
- Rs. 4000 + everything above + Letter of Recommendation
5th:
- Rs. 2000 + everything above + Letter of Recommendation
Top 10:
- Letter of Recommendation + social media feature
Top 5:
- The top 5 also receive campus entry for themselves plus two guests, with access to all events happening on the fest days.
Best Campus award:
- The college with the highest aggregate registrations gets a bulk pass discount or a delegation invite.
