India News Grid is a digital publishing platform serving founders, small and medium-sized businesses, professionals, and institutions. Its offerings include press releases, articles, Founder Stories, and publishing packages, supported by a structured client registration and onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Promote India News Grid's press releases, articles, Founder Stories, and publishing packages.
- Identify prospective clients through LinkedIn, Instagram, email, personal networks, and independent outreach.
- Explain the self-publishing platform and recommend suitable individual publications or annual packages.
- Conduct follow-ups, assist interested clients with registration and onboarding, and coordinate qualified leads with the India News Grid team.
- Maintain accurate communication with prospects and avoid making promises about guaranteed media coverage, traffic, rankings, indexing, or AI citations.
Requirements
- Students and recent graduates interested in marketing, business, media, communications, sales, digital marketing, startups, or publishing are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the confidence to approach prospects independently.
- Ability to manage outreach and follow-ups consistently alongside studies or other commitments.
- No prior experience is compulsory; initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are important.
This is an eight-week, fully remote, commission-only internship. There is no fixed salary or stipend, no guaranteed minimum sales, and India News Grid does not guarantee or regularly provide leads. Interns earn 50% of eligible net revenue from every paid client or package they personally introduce and successfully onboard. Eligible net revenue excludes GST, discounts, payment-gateway charges, applicable taxes, and transaction-related deductions. Payouts are subject to applicable TDS and become eligible after the accumulated balance reaches ₹5,000. An experience certificate is provided upon satisfactory completion.
