Incraftiv Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA & Data Operations Intern to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for website testing, test case preparation, bug identification, AI-assisted data addition, data verification, publishing, and production validation.
The ideal candidate should be able to verify data accuracy, identify website issues, and ensure that all verified and published information is correctly reflected on the live production website.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Test websites and web applications to identify bugs, errors, and functional issues.
- Test individual website modules, forms, buttons, links, filters, and navigation.
- Perform functional testing, UI testing, and regression testing.
- Identify incorrect behavior, broken links, display issues, and data mismatches.
Test Case Writing & Execution:
- Write and maintain test cases for individual website modules.
- Prepare test scenarios, testing steps, expected results, and actual results.
- Execute positive and negative test cases to verify functionality.
- Record Pass/Fail results and report any issues identified during testing.
- Retest bugs after fixes and ensure existing functionality continues to work properly.
Bug Reporting & Tracking:
- Identify, document, and report bugs with clear steps to reproduce them.
- Record expected results, actual results, and supporting screenshots where required.
- Coordinate with developers to resolve reported issues.
- Verify bug fixes and update the testing status.
AI-Assisted Data Addition & Verification:
- Add large volumes of data from reliable sources using AI-assisted tools.
- Cross-check AI-generated or AI-assisted information against original sources.
- Verify company names, addresses, contact details, descriptions, and other relevant fields.
- Identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated records.
- Correct discrepancies and ensure data accuracy before publishing.
Data Publishing & Production Validation:
- Publish verified and validated data to the website or application.
- Check published records on the live production environment.
- Ensure that the correct data is displayed and matches the verified source.
- Identify missing records, incorrect fields, duplicate entries, and publishing errors.
- Report discrepancies, coordinate corrections, and reverify the updated data on production.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain test cases, bug reports, and data verification records.
- Prepare daily task reports covering testing, data addition, verification, and publishing.
- Track completed tasks, pending issues, and production validation results.
- Follow established quality standards and reporting procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with websites and web applications.
- Basic knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with AI tools and online research.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Jira, Postman, SQL, or automation testing is an advantage but not mandatory.
