IgnitionAI is hiring for a Full Stack Engineering Intern!
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a product requirement from idea → architecture → implementation → deployment → iteration. You should be comfortable working across the entire stack and willing to go deep when necessary.
Requirements
- Modern frontend development: React / Next.js, TypeScript, responsive UI and good UX
- Backend development: Node.js / Python or equivalent, REST APIs, authentication, business logic and integrations
- Databases: PostgreSQL / MongoDB or equivalent, schema design, queries and data modelling
- Tools: Git, GitHub, debugging, testing and clean software engineering practices
- Deployment: Cloud deployment, Docker and basic DevOps
- API design and third-party service integrations
- Understanding of system architecture and scalability
- Ability to read unfamiliar codebases and quickly become productive
But technical knowledge alone isn't what we're looking for. We want someone who can look at a vague problem and say "I'll figure it out." You should be comfortable researching documentation, reading source code, debugging independently, using AI coding tools intelligently, and learning technologies you haven't encountered before.
Exceptional candidates may have:
- Built and deployed their own products
- Contributed meaningfully to open source
- Strong GitHub/project portfolio
- Participated in hackathons and actually shipped projects
- Experience building production-grade applications
- Strong competitive programming / CS fundamentals
- Experience with AI/LLM APIs, agents or AI-powered applications
- Demonstrable ability to learn extremely quickly
