Opportunity brief
IPL – Innovation Pitch League is a two-day, sports-league-style competition where individual contenders qualify through aptitude and group discussions, get drafted into mentored squads via a live talent auction, and pitch practical solutions to an industry challenge.
Eligibility & Registration
- Registration Fee: ₹100 per participant. To register, fill the Google Form and register on this page. The form includes payment details and requires you to upload a screenshot of your payment as confirmation.(Registration Form)
- Participation: Individual registration only (teams are formed through the auction stage).
- Capacity: Capped at the first 160 participants.
- Venue: SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul.
- Dates: 09th & 10th October 2026.

Competition Format & Stages
Round 1: Aptitude & Group Discussion (Day 1)
- Aptitude covers Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving, Technical Fundamentals, and DSA.
- Group Discussion evaluated by external judges for communication, leadership, and critical thinking.
- Combined scores determine the top 48 qualifiers.
Stage 2: Captain Selection & Talent Auction (Day 1)
- The top 8 qualifiers are designated as Team Captains.
- Captains bid on the remaining 40 candidates in a live talent auction to form 8 teams.
- Squad structure: 6 members per team (1 Captain + 5 participants) paired with an alumni mentor.
Stage 3: Innovation Challenge (Day 2)
- Teams work on an industry-oriented problem statement with dedicated mentor guidance to develop a feasible, impactful solution.
Stage 4: Final Pitch & Evaluation (Day 2)
- Format: 7-minute pitch presentation followed by a 3-minute jury Q&A (7 + 3).
- Evaluated directly by industry professionals and judges
Rules & Guidelines
- All participants must register individually; external pre-formed teams are not permitted.
- Advancement to the auction and Day 2 challenge is strictly merit-based, restricted to the top 48 combined scorers.
- Both days require mandatory on-campus participation.
- Lunch will be provided on the first day, and snacks and refreshments will be provided on the second day
Rewards & Opportunities
- Winner: ₹15,000
- Runner-Up: ₹10,000
- Second Runner-Up: ₹5,000
- Deserving performers may also be considered for exclusive internship opportunities offered at the discretion of industry judges.
