About Lumina'26 Hackathon
Fuel your logic, spark your genius — it's time to build without limits!
Under the banner of LUMINA, IEEE Student Branch JIIT presents Lumina'26 Hackathon, a 24-hour innovation marathon where ideas turn into technology-driven solutions.
For 24 hours, participants will brainstorm, design, develop, test, and build solutions to real-world problems. Whether you're a developer, designer, researcher, problem-solver, or someone with an unconventional idea, Lumina is a space to experiment, collaborate, and create.
Bring your boldest ideas, sharpest skills, and curiosity to question the ordinary.

Theme: Hack the Unseen
Build solutions for the problems that hide in plain sight — the everyday frustrations, overlooked inefficiencies, and challenges that people have simply learned to live with.
Look beyond the obvious and rethink the ordinary. Your mission is to discover an overlooked problem and turn an unconventional idea into a practical, technology-enabled solution that creates a real impact.
Example directions (but not limited to):
- Hidden inefficiencies in everyday routines and systems
- Accessibility challenges that often go unnoticed
- Tools for underserved or overlooked communities
- Digital safety, fraud detection, privacy, and online threats
- Making essential services more accessible and efficient
- Public infrastructure and civic-tech solutions
- Small everyday problems that technology could solve better
- Sustainability and waste problems hidden in ordinary activities
The problem doesn't have to be huge — it just has to be unseen.
If you can discover a problem others overlook and build a solution that makes people ask, "Why didn't we have this before?", it fits the theme.
