Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Conduct site measurements, inspect on-going construction works, and verify contractor claims and payment applications.
- Monitor project expenditures against allocated budgets and identify potential cost overruns early.
- Manage procurement documentation, tender submissions, and vendor contract negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with site engineers, architects, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 1–5 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or real estate industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and reading structural/architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with industry estimation tools, AutoCAD, and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
