About the Company

Hiring Campus is seeking energetic and proactive management students and recent graduates for a field-oriented Business Development Intern opportunity. The internship offers practical exposure to sales, client engagement, institutional outreach and territory management, with the possibility of full-time absorption into a Business Development Executive role for high performers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects and generate leads across the assigned state territory.
  • Conduct field visits to companies, colleges, universities and other institutions.
  • Initiate conversations, arrange meetings, present offerings and understand client requirements.
  • Build professional relationships, handle questions and objections, negotiate appropriately and maintain consistent follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate lead and client records while supporting opportunity conversion and closures.
  • Plan daily field schedules independently, represent Hiring Campus professionally and travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility based on meetings, client availability, travel and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or having completed BBA, MBA or another relevant management or business administration programme.
  • Freshers and candidates with academic exposure to business development, sales, marketing, human resources, client relations or management may apply.
  • Strong verbal communication, relationship-building, persuasion, networking and follow-up abilities.
  • Confident interacting with new people, senior professionals and institutional representatives.
  • Comfort with field work, frequent travel, dynamic schedules and independently managing territory activities is mandatory.
  • A target-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable and proactive approach to business development is expected.
  • Knowledge of the local or regional language of the assigned state is an advantage.
  • Quick joiners or candidates available at short notice are preferred.

Compensation and progression: This is a paid six-month internship with a stipend of ₹8,500 per month. Candidates demonstrating strong performance may be considered for a full-time Business Development Executive opportunity after completion.
