Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a network of dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, painters and builders across the assigned territory.
- Generate new business and expand Cowlor Paints' presence across Palghar and surrounding markets.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure consistent growth in the assigned territory.
- Regularly visit dealers, retailers, contractors and project sites to generate orders and build relationships.
- Identify new dealers/distributors and convert potential leads into active customers.
- Take regular orders, follow up on pending payments and coordinate with the internal team for timely dispatches.
- Promote Cowlor Paints' products and communicate their key benefits, applications and differentiators to customers.
- Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, market activity and customer feedback.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and ensure repeat business.
- Work closely with painters, contractors, architects and builders to create product awareness and generate product recommendations.
- Submit daily/weekly field visit and sales reports through the company's reporting system.
- Maintain an updated database of customers, prospects, orders, collections and market leads.
- Participate in dealer meets, product demonstrations and other sales/marketing activities when required.
- Work independently in the field while maintaining regular communication with the management team.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in the Paints industry is preferred/required.
- Experience with paint dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors and painters will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the local Palghar/Maharashtra paint and construction market.
- Proven ability to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Should be comfortable with extensive field travel within the assigned territory.
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently without requiring daily supervision.
- Should be comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel and mobile-based reporting systems.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are preferred/required.
- Knowledge of local languages such as Marathi and Hindi will be an advantage.
