About the Role
Hamari Pahchan NGO is looking for enthusiastic Field Interns & Community Volunteers to support grassroots social-impact programmes across Delhi NCR. Interns will work directly with children, women, youth and communities across areas such as Education, Skill Development, Women Empowerment, Health & Hygiene, Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, Environment and Community Development.
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Support and conduct community sessions, workshops, awareness drives and activities. - Interact with beneficiaries and assist with surveys, data collection and community engagement. - Maintain attendance, beneficiary records and project documentation. - Coordinate with the field/project team for programme implementation. - Prepare regular field reports and progress updates. - Capture photos/videos of workshops and activities with appropriate consent. - Create basic reels, short videos, activity recaps and impact content. - Maintain an organised repository of project photos, videos and documentation. - Follow organisational guidelines regarding beneficiary privacy, dignity and safety.
Duration & Level of Responsibility:
1-Month Internship - Learning & Support
Focus on understanding the project, assisting with field activities, supporting workshops, engaging with beneficiaries, maintaining basic records and submitting weekly updates.
2-Month Internship - Implementation & Coordination
Take greater responsibility for assigned activities, assist with workshop planning, coordinate with beneficiaries, maintain project records and support selected sessions under supervision.
3-Month Internship - Ownership & Impact
Take ownership of assigned activities, coordinate selected workshops, maintain beneficiary/project trackers, monitor engagement, prepare field reports and contribute to project documentation, impact assessment and continuity of community initiatives.
Requirements:
- Students, graduates and young professionals interested in social impact. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Willingness to work directly with communities. - Comfortable travelling to assigned locations across Delhi NCR. - Available Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. - Responsible, punctual and willing to work in a field-based environment. - Prior NGO/community experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
