Hackathon Theme: Generative AI × Cloud

Teams must develop innovative, intelligent and scalable solutions by combining the capabilities of Generative AI with modern cloud technologies.

The solutions should demonstrate practical applications of AI, efficient cloud deployment, scalability, responsible data usage and measurable real-world impact.

Unique Problem Statement Allocation

  • Every participating team will receive a unique problem statement.
  • All problem statements will follow the common theme of Generative AI × Cloud.
  • Problem statements will be revealed at the beginning of the hackathon.
  • Once allocated, teams cannot exchange or change their problem statement.
  • Each team must independently design, develop and present its solution.
  • Solutions must be developed during the official hackathon period.

Eligibility & Team Rules

  • Open to UG and PG students
  • Students from all academic disciplines may participate
  • Team Size: 1–4 members
  • Inter-college teams are allowed
  • Inter-department teams are allowed
  • Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged
  • Each participant may be part of only one team

Hackathon Process

Phase 1 – Problem Allocation & Ideation

  • Each team will receive a unique problem statement.
  • Teams must analyse the challenge and plan their proposed solution.
  • Mentors may guide teams during idea validation.
  • Teams must work only on their assigned problem statement.

Phase 2 – Prototype Development

  • Teams will develop their solution during the 24-hour hackathon.
  • The solution should meaningfully use Generative AI and cloud technologies.
  • Mentors and industry professionals will interact with participants.
  • Teams may undergo progress evaluations during development.

Phase 3 – Final Submission & Evaluation

  • Teams must submit their final prototype and presentation.
  • Shortlisted teams will demonstrate their solutions before the jury.
  • Evaluation will focus on technical quality, innovation, scalability and practical impact.

  • Source-code repository
  • Solution description

  • Cloud architecture or deployment details
  • Demo or deployment link, wherever applicable
