LOCATION: PUNE, INDIA (IN-OFFICE)
WORKING TIMING : UK SHIFT
POSITION SUMMARY
HackerOne is seeking a hands-on, technically curious Product Manager to join the team building Agentic Vulnerability Elimination (AVE). AVE is how HackerOne brings AI agents and human expertise together to validate, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities at scale. The agents do the heavy lifting on every finding, while our triage analysts and security researchers keep them accurate and trustworthy. In this role, you will drive improvements to the quality and performance of these agents and the harness they run in, working closely with our Pune triage and offensive security teams and partnering closely with product development teams based in India, the Netherlands, and the U.K.
This is an ideal role for someone who is energized by AI, comfortable getting into the details of how an agent actually behaves, and motivated by close collaboration with the operators, security researchers, and customers who use and pressure-test our products every day.
This hybrid role is located in Pune, India, and reports to the Principal Product Manager for Agentic Vulnerability Elimination.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Success in the Product Manager role will be accomplished by delivering on the responsibilities below in alignment with the Values and Principles that define how we work at HackerOne:
- Lead the definition and delivery of improvements to AI agent quality, performance, and cost management across validation, prioritization, exploitation, deduplication, and remediation, balancing model capabilities, operational workflows, customer outcomes, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Own the evolution of the evaluation framework and agent harness, establishing scalable evaluation methodologies, quality gates, and feedback loops that improve agentic capabilities over time.
- Partner with triage, engineering, offensive security researchers, and product teams to align priorities, influence product direction, and translate operational workflows into scalable, AI-driven product capabilities.
- Work closely with our offensive security researchers to validate exploitability, adversarially stress-test agent decisions, and improve how the agents reason about real-world attack scenarios.
- Partner with customer-facing teams in EMEA and the US to join customer calls and understand user workflows, gather feedback, and keep agent improvements grounded in real-world needs.
- Define the product health metrics for your area, design experimentation frameworks, and use evidence to make prioritization decisions that improve customer and business outcomes.
- Own significant product initiatives, independently defining problem statements, success metrics, and execution plans while influencing the broader product strategy alongside senior product leadership and partnering closely with development teams based in India, the Netherlands, and the U.K.
- Navigate ambiguous product problems where customer needs, AI capabilities, and security workflows are still emerging, bringing structure, prioritization, and clear execution plans to cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data to define metrics, run experiments, and make decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build alignment among technical and operational staff.
- Experience working with distributed/async product development teams in different time zones.
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate, and able to work on-site there on a hybrid basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
