Opportunity brief
Eligibility:
- Open to management students from top Bangalore colleges.
- Teams must consist of 2–3 students.
- Inter-college teams are allowed; members do not need to be from the same institution.
- Inter-specialization teams are allowed and encouraged, as long as the team applies to one track together.
Tracks:
- AI for Hiring: AI workflows for the hiring funnel, including screening, shortlisting, and candidate communication. Best suited for students of HR, Organisational Behaviour, General Management, and Business Communication.
- AI for Supply Chain & Global Trade: AI workflows for cross-border trade and operations, including documents, vendors, and shipments. Best suited for students of International Business, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics.
Format:
- In-person, single-day sprint of 6 hours, held at Paytm's Bengaluru office.
- Each team receives one live business problem statement on the day, based on their chosen track.
Rounds & Duration:
- Learn (1 hour): Hands-on session on practical AI implementation.
- Build (3.5 hours): Teams work on the live problem statement.
- Present & Judge (1 hour): Teams pitch to a judging panel of practitioners.
- Results (30 minutes): Winners are announced, and the internship offer is made on the spot.
Judging:
- Judged by a panel of practitioners using the same evaluation standards across both tracks.
Rewards:
- The guaranteed internship goes to every member of the winning team, not just one representative.
- All participants across both tracks receive a certificate.
Rules:
- Application is free; one submission per team.
- Selection is based on the strength of the written application; not every team that applies will be shortlisted.
- Shortlist will be announced on August 20, 2026.
- Shortlisted teams must confirm participation by August 21, 2026 to lock their spot.
- Teams must be present in person at the venue on August 22, 2026; no remote or virtual participation is allowed.
- Team size is fixed at 2–3 members for the entire event.
- Decisions of the judging panel are final.
