Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Global Banking & Markets Operations-Transaction Banking-Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute timely and precise reconciliations across complex data sets to proactively identify and mitigate potential discrepancies.
• Support investigations and drive the resolution of identified breaks, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and implementation of automation initiatives to enhance control efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continuously monitor and assess the performance of existing controls, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.

- Partner with the Global Control team to ensure seamless 'follow-the-sun' operational coverage and efficient issue escalation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with 1+ years of professional in a relevant financial services or operations control environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and a strong control mentality.
• Proficiency in Excel and proven capability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• A strong risk management and control mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across various functions and levels.
