About us:
Gokario is a voice first marketplace that connects scaling startups with independent experts on demand. A business describes an operational/non-operational task that needs to be executed, Gokario turns it into a priced job card, and a vetted expert is matched, often within minutes. We're early, we're shipping fast, and we're supported by Cartesia and Sarvam Al.
Now we need someone to help put Gokario in front of the founders, sales leaders and growth teams who need it.
Primary Details:
- Role: Outbound GTM Intern
- Function: GTM / Growth
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Stipend: The role is unpaid for the first two months. Starting from month three, you will be eligible for a variable stipend, mutually agreed upon based on your performance. Outstanding performance from Day 1 can trigger it early
What you'll do:
- Build target lists of founders, vertical heads and scaling teams at startups (primarily pre-seed to series-B)
- Write and run outbound on LinkedIn and email, from the first message to task post/ discovery call
- Test different angles, messages and audiences, and track what actually gets replies
- Talk to prospects, learn what they struggle to get done, and bring that back to the team
- Help shape our outreach playbook, collateral and follow-up sequences
- Work directly with the founders, every day
What you'll learn:
- How a startup finds its first customers, from the inside
- Outbound that works: targeting, copywriting, sequencing and follow-up
- How to run a sales conversation and handle objections
- GTM and CRM tools
Who we're looking for:
- You write clearly and you're comfortable starting conversations with people you don't know
- You're curious about startups, growth and sales, and you like seeing your work turn into numbers
- You're organised, you follow up, and you don't need to be chased
- You can take feedback on Monday and ship a better version by Tuesday
- Students, recent graduates and career switchers are all welcome. Hustle counts more than your degree.
Good to have:
- You've done sales, outreach, community or campus ambassador work before
- You've used Al tools to research, write or work faster
- You speak more than one Indian language
