About the Hackathon

Welcome to the Hack 2 Ignite 2026-27, a hackathon where innovation meets technology to solve real-world challenges. This hackathon brings together talented students, developers, designers, and innovators from across the country to collaborate, build impactful solutions, and transform ideas into working prototypes.

Participants will work on industry-relevant problem statements across diverse domains, including Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Agriculture, Healthcare, EduTech, Game Development, Web3 & Blockchain, and Environment & Sustainable Development. The event aims to encourage innovation, critical thinking, teamwork, and entrepreneurship while providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their technical and problem-solving skills.

The hackathon will be conducted in a multi-stage format, beginning with an online qualification round, where teams will develop and submit their prototype and presentation. Based on the evaluation, the Top 30 teams will be shortlisted and invited to the on-campus Grand Finale, where they will present their solutions before an expert panel of judges.

Participants can choose problem statements from the following domains:

Event Format

Round 0: Registration

• Open registrations through Unstop.
• Teams can register during the registration window.

Round 1: Online Qualifier (48 Hours)

• Registered teams will receive the problem statements.
• Teams must develop a prototype and prepare a presentation (PPT).
• Submissions will be evaluated by the judging panel.

Round 2: Grand Finale (On-Campus)

• The Top 30 shortlisted teams will be invited to the college.
• Teams will work on existing prototype improve it or add new feature, present their prototype and pitch their solution before an expert jury.
• Winners will be selected based on innovation, technical implementation, presentation, feasibility, and impact.

Prize Pool

Total Prize Pool: ₹1,50,000

• 1st Prize – ₹70,000
• 2nd Prize – ₹50,000
• 3rd Prize – ₹30,000
