About the Company
Fifth Column Design Studio is an architectural studio specializing in innovative and aesthetic designs. We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team and enhance our social media presence with engaging visual content.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a suitable, finished product for social media platforms.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
- Create rough and final cuts.
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a video editor, preferably within an architectural or design studio setting.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut).
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- BSc degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus.
