The engineering team works across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and integrations to deliver secure, scalable products for demanding business environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Build secure, high-performance microservices and integrations with third-party platforms, ERPs, and external APIs.
- Design database schemas, optimize queries and indexes, and maintain data integrity across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis systems.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker, and support deployments using Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, improve reliability, and contribute to infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams, while participating in code reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional backend development experience with strong Python proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django; REST APIs; asynchronous programming; authentication such as JWT, OAuth, or API keys; and sound software architecture principles.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, query optimization, and indexing.
- Experience with Go is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Celery, message brokers, search platforms, AI/ML deployments, ERP integrations, Terraform, Ansible, caching, or distributed systems will be valued.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Mumbai, with annual compensation of ₹7,00,000–₹8,00,000.
