Opportunity brief

About the Competition

Marksoc DTU, the Marketing Society of Delhi Technological University (DTU), presents an exciting Case Competition designed to test participants' analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, creativity, and business acumen.

The competition will provide participants with an opportunity to tackle a business case, identify key challenges, develop innovative and practical solutions, and present their strategic recommendations. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world business problem-solving.

Competition Structure

Round 1: Case Submission Round (Online)

Participants will be required to analyse the given case study and submit their proposed solution in the prescribed format within the stipulated deadline. Submissions should demonstrate a clear understanding of the problem, strong analytical reasoning, strategic thinking, creativity, and the feasibility of the proposed recommendations.

Entries will be evaluated on the basis of the quality of analysis, originality of ideas, practicality of solutions, and overall approach to the problem. Shortlisted teams will advance to the next round.

Round 2: Offline Finale

The shortlisted teams will compete in the offline round, where they will present and defend their proposed solutions before a panel of judges. Participants will be assessed on their presentation skills, clarity of thought, depth of analysis, strategic recommendations, and ability to respond to questions from the judges.

The offline finale will test not only the quality of the proposed solution but also the participants' ability to communicate ideas effectively and justify their decisions under scrutiny.

Who Can Participate?

The competition welcomes students who are passionate about business strategy, marketing, consulting, and problem-solving. Participants should be prepared to think critically, collaborate effectively, and approach business challenges with a practical and innovative mindset.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Problem identification and understanding
