Opportunity brief
Eligibility:
- Open to undergraduate students, and postgraduate students.
- Participants may register individually or in teams of 1–4 members.
- Inter-college teams are allowed.
- Interdisciplinary teams are allowed.
Competition Format:
Round 1: Quiz Round
- A preliminary quiz testing participants' understanding of entrepreneurship, business, technology, and innovation.
Round 2: Business Plan / Pitch Deck Submission
- Participants will submit a business plan/pitch deck based on the competition theme. The Top 10–15 teams will be shortlisted for the final round.
Round 3: Grand Finale
- The shortlisted teams will pitch their ideas before a panel of judges. Each team will be allotted a specified presentation time, followed by a Q&A session.
Suggested Pitch Deck Structure:
The pitch deck should be 10 slides maximum, excluding the Appendix, and may include:
- Idea & Vision
- Problem / Consumer Need
- Market Opportunity
- Product / Solution
- Innovation & Technology
- Go-to-Market Strategy
- Brand Visibility & Marketing
- Mass Adoption & Accessibility
- Expansion & Scalability
- Business & Revenue Model
- Financial Projections
Rules:
- Submissions must be original and created by the participating team.
- Plagiarism or use of another team's work will result in disqualification.
- Teams must adhere to the prescribed format, slide limit, deadlines and time limits.
- The decision of the organising committee and judges will be final and binding.
