Opportunity brief
Marketing Manager — Drydown
Drydown makes fine fragrance for fabric. Our reference set is Le Labo, Byredo, Aesop, and Diptyque, not fabric care competitors. This role owns marketing execution across all sales and social media platforms, working directly with the founder.
What you'll own:
- Day-to-day marketing across Amazon, Blinkit, and drydown.in: listings, ad strategy, launch sequencing.
- Briefing and managing external creative, content, and social freelancers against the brand's copy and visual rules.
- End-to-end go-to-market for new launches, starting with the detergent range: content, listing readiness, timing.
- Offline and community marketing, including gated community sensory activations across Hyderabad.
- Channel-level economics: ACOS, contribution margin, and review velocity, and adjusting spend against them.
- Guarding brand voice and claims discipline across every piece of outward-facing content.
What you bring:
- 3 to 6 years in D2C or ecommerce marketing, ideally in a premium or fragrance-adjacent category.
- Comfortable running lean: writing copy, briefing a freelancer, and reading a P&L in the same week.
- Sharp, economical writing and a strong sense of brand voice.
- Working knowledge of Amazon Seller or Vendor tools and quick-commerce platforms.
- A direct communicator who takes correction without re-litigating it.
Good to have:
- Experience marketing a brand from near-zero, not just running an established one.
- Familiarity with fine fragrance, beauty, or luxury personal care positioning.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and channel-level unit economics.
